Antenatal Clinic

Maternity care is provided by the local midwifery service. If you become pregnant you can contact the midwifery team direct via the George Eliot Hospital website and downloading the Badger App.

Asthma & COPD Reviews

Asthma and COPD reviews are available with the practice nurses throughout the week, when necessary. A member of the healthcare team will contact you when your review is due.

Diabetic Clinic

Diabetic patients will be routinely recalled to the Diabetic clinics which are run by our practice nurses and Healthcare Assistants. You will receive a blood test form and questionnaire. One of our Diabetic Team will contact you once we have received your completed form and blood results.

Learning Disability Health Check

Patients aged 14 and over who are accessing learning disabilities services are offered an annual health check. Further information is available from the receptionists.

Minor Surgery

Minor surgery procedures include excisions (ie. removal of ingrowing toenails and moles), joint injections, aspirations (ie. drainage of cysts).  Your doctor will refer you to the minor surgery clinic and you will be sent a letter inviting you to attend.  Minor surgery procedures are performed at the surgery.

Sexual Health / Contraception

We offer IUD insertion/removals in addition to Nexplanon fitting within contraception clinics, please call for an appointment. 

Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.

Some services offered fall outside the NHS contract and therefore attract fees.
