Healthcare Assistants

Our Healthcare Assistants perform a variety of roles assisting the nursing team. Their role includes lifestyle advice/monitoring (blood pressure, height and weight), new patient medicals, electrocardiography and other clinical activities identified by the practice nurse or doctor.

Reception

The receptionists will organise your appointments, as well as process repeat prescriptions, deal with general enquiries and assist you wherever possible. They also act as patient chaperones when required. All Red Roofs practice staff have a responsible job and they are often working under a great deal of pressure, so please allow for this.

Health Visitors

Health visitors are registered nurses who have undergone further training in health education and promotion and can offer support and practical advice on a range of health issues. Tel: 024 7638 5447.

Midwife

If you become pregnant you can contact the midwifery team direct via the George Eliot Hospital website and downloading the Badger App.
